My knack for solving people’s computer problems had become so well-known among my neighborhood that these circumstances were near impossible to avoid. I’ve had neighbors who spotted me from their window rush outside to coax me into working on their home computer while I was walking to the corner market. I’ve had oblivious coworkers step in front of me in a buffet line to tell me about their computer problems while I was serving myself food. I’ve had eavesdropping strangers approach me with questions about their computer while I was eating in a restaurant. Situations like this one were common for me. It didn’t matter how uninterested I looked or sounded, he was convinced that I must know the answer he’s looking for and he was determined he would get it. This man I was meeting for the first time must’ve truly believed that I was going to help him with his problem at that very moment. As it would turn out, my hopeful prediction was very wrong - the gentleman sitting next to me scooted his seat closer to me to begin an interrogation. I politely and patiently answered their questions, hoping that we’d exhaust the subject in a matter of minutes and then move on to something else. “Oh wow, a computer guy!” - “So you know how to remove spyware and viruses and stuff, right?” - “Our family computer is really slow, I think it has a virus.” - “Do you have a business card, or can I get your number?” If you hadn’t heard my response, judging from everyone’s reaction you might think I said something outrageous like I was a male stripper or a gynecologist - but I knew the awkward silence would soon be broken by an overwhelming outpouring of computer questions. All eyes suddenly turned to me, raised eyebrows all around. Hesitantly, I responded: “I work in computer support.” When I asked our hostess for more mashed potatoes, she took the opportunity to ask me about myself while dishing out my second helping - “So Shaun, what do you do for a living?” Since we were basically a group of strangers looking to make a good first impression, the table conversation was nothing more than friendly idle chitchat. I only met my brother’s ex-girlfriend’s family once - the year they invited our family over to share Thanksgiving dinner.

Context menu integrationĪfter a rapid and uncomplicated setup operation, Attribute Changer creates an entry labeled "Change Attributes." into the right-click menu and organizes its options into three panes dedicated to the customizable file properties, reports, and program settings, respectively. More importantly, it offers support for batch processing, so you can modify attributes for a selection of multiple files (regardless of their format). Notable features include automatic reports for keeping track of tampered files, along with a simulation mode for previewing changes. This is an advanced and highly intuitive application that integrates into the Windows Explorer shell to grant you easy access to a file's properties. Truth be told I never tried it so I don't know exactly how complicated it is.īut as always, save a backup before embarking on such an adventure. With the help of Attribute Changer you can not only modify file attributes but also date and time stamps. When the Library Parts are in XML, it is easy to modify certain values in the XML file which makes it easy to modify a lot of parameter values in many Library Parts in one step, as far as I know. It is in the PreviousLP_XMLConverter folder, complete with documentation, if you are serious about doing this. Then you make those modifications again.īy the way there is a tool for converting Library Parts to XML and vice versa. Use the modified LCF, but save a copy of the original LCF (which is always recommended before modifying), when the update comes out you switch back the original to its original location so the updater can find it and update it. Modify the LCF and not upgrade it with a library update if one comes out.Ģ. Also, GS states that the result of modifying the library is that the upgrader will not be able to upgrade it if a library hotfix comes out. However, this is really BIM Manager level stuff. When you modified all GDL Objects you wanted you can then recreated the LCF from the folder. Then you can open the GDL Objects and modify their default settings in the Library Editor Dialog. The other way is what some BIM Managers might do: it is to extract the Library Container File (LCF) into a folder on your hard drive. Yes, It’s the Wired Productions Summer Sale 2023. RarmaRadio also sports a comprehensive settings center that allows you to juggle with its options, so you can enable Winamp Emulation Mode, cache playlist files, allow multiple streams, set up hotkeys for controlling the application a bit easier, configure network, fonts and mouse actions and much more. Recording a song is easy as pie because you only need to right click a specific file and hit the "Record Current Song" option.Īnother great thing about RarmaRadio is the fact that it lets you add your very own stations to the list, so you have to manually input all information, including URL, website, bitrate, name and genre. Once you find a station, the main window shows its name, genre, country, network, type, bitrate, comment, rating, date added and last played, while the bottom is being used for showing album art and song information. If the fact that all stations are grouped by genre, network or region doesn't help, the search box placed right in the main window should do the job. The number of stations is indeed impressive and it's easy to find the one you want. With a huge collection of radio stations from all over the world, RarmaRadio can record the stream in multiple formats, including MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA and FLAC, each coming with its very own settings. Just false words to calm down and then just ignoring the balance. Well 6 months later and no change, seems like it isnt that important. I want to re-assure you that it will fixed very soon. It's on the top of our list to "fix" the situation with the war machines. We are aware about this issue and we are looking for a solution that will fit everyone. I really enjoy reading constructive criticism that has the intention of showing us your point of view in order to improve the game. Originally posted by Holyday Studios:thank you very much for your feedback. Why has this issued never been adressed so far? I hope, you take my feedback to heart and change it for the better of the whole playerbase. And that's something which is known for a long time. However, insurmountable inequality through unbalanced war-machines is an issue which destroys the fun in one the main aspects of the game. Sure, money can give you a lot of more progression, but that's how this type of game works and how you earn money to continue the development. A disparity so enormous that even paying players are unwilling to continue playing, because they simply don't stand a chance in pvp anymore. But it becomes a problem when there is a huge disparity between the characteristics of some war machines. The fact that you get war-machines "assigned" through a random system is not a problem per se. While the PVE-Campaign is very nice, the PVP-aspect of the war machines is not satisfying for a lot of players. However, there are also some aspects which need urgent rethinking. We have a wonderful community and I don't regret spending my time in this game. I love the stage progression, the events and the guild function. I enjoy the game and spend a lot of time (and money) in firestone idle RPG. I am playing on google play store and want to use the steam forums to give some constructive feedback.
